Top 5 Boobs of the Blogosphere

5. In the "Wow, they really developed over summer break" category: 9Rules. I'm not sure what exactly 9sponsors is going to be (besides an advertising platform), but I do know that the scope of Scrivs' influence will all but ensure its success.

4. In the "Ever-elusive firm D-cup" category: 37 Signals. Great software for small businesses developed by small teams, and a brand that's growing in leaps and bounds. You are that rare kind we all wish we could have, but only comes around once in a graduating class.

3. In the "Formerly glorious, but sagging" category: Technorati. You were able to get a snazzy new design a while back. How about some new servers and bug-fixing, and pronto? Cuz in another year your technology will officially be 'old', and if technology isn't 'cool', it had better work.

2. In the "Honey, ain't nobody buyin' it" category: AOL. Buying Weblogs Inc. didn't make your company relevant in any way. And by the way, lady, you paid waaaaay too much for those.

1. In the "Geez cover yourself up already, that's just ANNOYING" category: BizNicheMedia. The whole competition was annoying, the winner we picked was annoying, and this particular implementation of the winning idea was extremely annoying. Rich, you're a boob, and so am I.

You certainly got number 2 right...It is sad to watch a dying behemoth grasp at straws in an effort to prolong its life.

And by the way, this WAS annoying....
